The Journal of Health Research and Society (JHRS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension, and Innovation at Mindanao State University - General Santos.
Aligned with the social mandate of the university, JHRS publishes original research, review, and perspective articles in the following key areas: community and public health, social dimension of education, social sciences and humanities, and social business and entrepreneurship.
JHRS seeks to advance these areas by publishing high-quality research primarily from Mindanao and the Philippines, as well as internationally. Its editorial board is composed of diverse, established experts, reflecting its disciplinal and geographical scope.
JHRS is published biannually, starting in 2024.
